For Over 30 years
Rick Clary, the founder of R.Clary Builders, Inc., has been in the Hawaii construction industry for over 30 years. Starting as a carpenters apprentice then becoming a journeyman carpenter. He worked his way up to carpentry foreman then job site superintendent and finally project manager. He managed projects for Hawaii’s two largest residential developers for over 10 years before starting R. Clary Builders, Inc.
Working his way up through the construction trades has taught him many valuable lessons about workmanship and customer service, which are the foundation of R. Clary Builders, Inc. today.
We understand that the construction process can be very stressful on you and your family. That’s why we pride ourselves on keeping our clients happy, well informed on all aspects of construction and hassle free.

Meet the Team
Sage Clary - Project Manager
Sage plays a very dynamic role in R. Clary Builders, wearing many hats on any given day. This includes handling entire project aspects from initial site visit to proposal, all the way through job completion. She takes pride in producing quality results and communicates with clients every step of the way.
Sage has a degree in Business Administration with a focus in Entrepreneurship and is a licensed Real Estate Agent in the state of Hawaii.
Rick Clary - Operations Manager
Rick is the Founder of R. Clary Builders, and handles the Field Operations. He manages all subcontractors and crews to ensure that the projects are being completed to the highest standards of quality.
Previously, Rick was a Project Superintendent for two of the largest developers on Oahu before launching R. Clary Builders. We are grateful to be able to celebrate 16 years of success, and looking forward to many more years to come.
Brenda Clary - Office Manager
Brenda manages the business side of R.Clary Builders from bookkeeping, human resources, to maintaining all aspects of owing a business. She meticulously looks over the details from a financial perspective, and makes certain that the business runs smoothly.
Earlier in her career Brenda worked in positions from bookkeeping, airline customer service, to a financial institution computer department. All these experiences gave her a well-rounded knowledge to help Rick run R.Clary Builders.
